A wide-angle zoom lens from Sigma, the 24-35mm f2 Art lens is the first of its kind to feature a fast f2 constant aperture. With this bright aperture available at all focal lengths, you can experience a consistent level of depth of field control and handheld performance. The lens is suitable for use on full-frame cameras, but it can also be mounted on APS-C models with success, and a magnified equivalent zoom range of 36-52.5mm. The HSM AF system is super quiet, as well as being fast enough to keep up with the quickest of models. As it is constructed from thermally stable composite materials, is suitable to use in varied climates while still remaining lightweight.

At the time of release, this Sigma 24-35mm f2 Art lens is the first full-frame zoom lens to feature a constant f2 aperture. What this results in, is a lens that is consistently useful in terms of depth of field control and handheld usability, at all focal lengths. In terms of the focal range, this lens covers the wide field of view that is commonly used for landscape, travel and similar applications. As it is constructed with thermally stable composite materials, the 24-35mm f2 Art lens is suited to use in varying climates, while not being overly cumbersome.
As a member of Sigma's wonderful Art series, the 24-35mm f2 is optically sound, as it features a range of high-end elements, being two aspherical, one FLD, and seven SLD glass. Likewise, the contrast and colour accuracy levels of this lens are at a premium, with thanks to super multi-layer coating. With a HyperSonic Motor in charge of autofocus performance, the 24-35mm f2 Art lens is able to find its focal point with blistering pace, while it does so in a near-silent manner, which will not bring you any unnecessary attention.
