The Sony 10-18mm f4 lens is a versatile wide-angle zoom option, with a suitability to low-light shooting. With a 15-27mm equivalent zoom range, this lens is perfect for landscapes and architecture shooting, and it will come in very handy when shooting in cramped interiors. As well as a constant f4 aperture, which assures consistent depth of field control and handheld performance, this lens features a built-in Steady Shot stabiliser, which puts the finishing touches on your fight against camera shake. With the ability to pair up with the in-body stabilisation of compatible cameras, the Sony 10-18mm has the potential to provide premium stability.
Thanks to its internal focus mechanism, AF speeds of the Sony 10-18mm are fast and accurate, while the lens is also able to maintain its portable stature throughout performance. Optically the lens has been built to appease the strictest of pixel peepers, with its mix of Super ED and Aspherical elements combining to deliver premium sharpness and clarity, as well as to reduce the appearance of aberrations, distortions, etc. Any out of focus areas that you are able to create with the constant aperture, are of a beautiful and natural appearance, thanks to the lens' rounded 7-blade circular aperture.
