With its included VR II stabiliser, the Nikon 70-300mm lens is well-suited to handle the effects of camera shake, whether this shake comes from high magnification shooting, or shooting at lower shutter speeds in lower light conditions. With a Silent Wave Motor driving the autofocus, this lens performs quickly and discreetly, so it is not going to gain you unwanted attention when shooting in quieter surroundings. Thanks to the internal focus design, this lens retains its portable qualities throughout performance, as well as permitting you to use circular polarising filters.
