Being the larger model in the Gitzo professional ball head range, this product can be used in unison with Series 2 and 3 Gitzo Mountaineer tripods as well as Gitzo Series 2 and above tripods. A screw knob keeps the supplied QR plate in place; an arca-swiss compatible type is supplied, but Gitzo's D profile plates can also be used. A bubble level can be found on this ball head, so straight and exact framing is an easier task.
