As well as this unique feature, the 470 EX-AI is a full-featured general-purpose flash, with compatibility with Canon's E-TTL and E-TTL II, a guide number of 47, and a 24-105mm zoom head.
The Canon Speedlite 470 EX-AI includes an optical receiver for off-camera triggering. The LCD panel at the rear makes for easy viewing of essential settings, while an AF assist beam assists performance in low-light scenarios. Running on AA batteries, and finding a spare for the 470 EX-AI is a simple task.
